Description: A spectacular and RARE find - Very large vintage 3 goddess hanging oil lamp. Custom made! and Working! Comes with instruction booklet and tag. Hanging cord is very long. Please note that the lamp is very heavy- almost 20 pounds. When you hang it, please insure the hook is secured well and can handle that weight. This has been drained of all oil. We tested and videoed it working with water only. The video isn’t great. My husband wasn’t happy holding it, and if I want to keep my 33 year old marriage, I don’t dare ask him to do it again. No damage to the electrical components. Cosmetic wear from age as seen in the pictures. Also as seen in the pictures there is a missing/cracked piece at the base of the goddesses. This is cosmetic only and does not affect the performance. It can be completely hidden by the greenery. Dimensions: 38” long and about 14”wide.m including decorative bars. Red is approximately 10” in diameter. Look over pictures well to see overall condition as pictures are part of the item description. It comes clean and ready to hang straight out of the box. I am going to pack the greenery in a bag. It can easily be put back on as it just sits in the bottom holes. Please note that rain lamp oil is not included with this listing. It’s recommended to use rain lamp specific mineral oil available online. The light bulb is working but I don’t know its age. We may be able to take the lamp apart and ship in 2 smaller boxes. Thank you How it works: A pump runs “rain” lamp oil (other kinds of oil will gum up the pump) over several strands of taut 30-40 Ib fishing line to create a slow motion effect of rain. The oil needs to be changed and the lamp and pump cleaned every year or the oil gets rancid. For lighting, you used low wattage soft light of any color.
