Description: An original Redfield 4X Frontier rifle scope set-up complete with matching rings and six Frontier base sets. Overall condition is excellent with clean optics and only light use on the outside and a 4-Plex or "plex" reticle. The Frontier replaced Redfield's traditional scopes briefly in 1973 before they went back to "regular" traditional scopes. The rings are the Frontier that fit the dog-ear slot Frontier bases or grooved receiver 22's. The bases are for Winchester 70A, Savage 110, Husky FN Mauser, Ithaca Tikka and see-thru for Winchester 70 and Browning BA/BLR. Three sets are missing mount screws. This scope would make a great authentic match for one of these big game rifles, or, the scope and rings alone would also make a handsome compliment to a 22 caliber rimfire rifle.
