Description: For sale is this excellent example of a vintage Reed C3 vise that has been completely refurbished. The date on the side is 4-79. The vise was used responsibly during its 45 year life, with a few dings and dents as depicted in the photos. The vise was disassembled, the painted parts were stripped to bare metal and primed and painted with multiple coats of rust resistant paint in a hammered matte black color. The jaw inserts are original and in good condition. All other parts are also original. One of the pipe jaw inserts has a small chip on the top corner (see photo). With a shipping weight approaching 150 lbs, this tool will be shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground to the 48 continental states, probably in two packages.
