This example features a chrome-plated metal cap with steel clip and nib over a translucent green plastic barrel. So, please take a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this neat SHEAFFER fountain pen should be yours. This SHEAFFER fountain pen is in clean, very good condition. It measures 4 15/16” long with cap in place x 5⅞” with cap posted atop x ⅜” wide. The plastic barrel has no chips, cracks, or notable scratches, and the cap has no dings, just the expected light marks from use and storage over the years. Plus, the clip fits snug against the barrel with no gap. Overall, this pen presents quite nicely. What’s more, the pen has a fine point nib that looks to be in great shape with no bend or tine split noted. I gave the nib, feed, and cap a thorough cool water rinsing to chase out the old residual ink. Though I didn’t ink the pen afterwards, I’m including a black SHEAFFER Skrip cartridge for the new owner’s convenience in case they wish to put it into action right away!
