This Hill Billy decanter sat on a bar shelf in a dark, cool basement for several decades as a display piece. No liquor was stored in this decanter and it is clean. The paint is still clean and original. No damage to the decanter, no chips or cracks. Top of the hat holds the cork which seals the decanter. Cork is aged and appears to be in fair condition, although part of it appears to be breaking up, so repeated attempts to remove the stopper are to be avoided.
