Description: This auction is fora Vintage Vaughan & Bushnell V & B Smooth Bottom Woodworking Plane for Restoration or Parts. 24" long. Workshop Fresh! It is in fair used condition.Has dirt, rust throughout, coating loss, paint residue, some pitting from rust, couple pitting holes, and scratches. Plane was once painted, and paint remnants can be seen. Wood handles have scratches, scrapes, some chipping, cracking along wood grain, and dirt.Back handle has small chipping at top edge and a small surface crack at bottom. Handle is missing screw. Front rounded handle can be spun around by hand, but is somewhat tight. I do not know if any screws or parts on plane are original or not. Blade and holder are marked V & B (hard to read). Blade is 2 1/2" wide and has some chipping to it. Knob at back does turn. I do not know how well any screws would unscrew. Blade holder lever is tight. Bottom is rough from rust and has pitting. No cracks that I could see. I do not know how well this would clean up. Measures approx. 24" x 5 1/2" x 3". This was acquired from a local estate andis AS FOUND/AS IS.
