Vintage Volksmarching Award Pin Germany/Holland 80's Participation

Description: Vintage Volksmarch Award Medaltotal length 5" medal is 3"x2"It is heavy - weighs almost 5 ounces. I came to own this medal by cleaning a air force family's home. They were stationed in the air force for some time in Germany so I image they might have been volksmarchers and later moved to Rome NY and the Griffiss Air Force Base. I would say this medal was from 1970-1980. top bar - T.W.C.
