Description: This vintage Drawing Board Greeting Cards set of Perky Pads featuring a cat scratching itself. The fun & unique design titled “Scratch Pad” is by one of Drawing Board’s most renowned artists named Booth. (Definitely my favorite!) Always a tongue-in-cheek design by this artist. 😁 I used to work at the Drawing Board Greeting Cards company back in the early 80’s timeframe; and I loved going into the room filled with the different artists, where they were designing calendars, cards, etc. My job was across the highway in the warehouse. I would go into a darkroom to load the large negative film, used in the photographing of the set-up of artwork for DBGCI’s catalog designs. This comes from my own personal “old stock”. Please note that the packaging is falling apart and there is some discoloration on the edges & especially, on the back cardboard portion of the notepad. However, this may just be one of those “must-have” items for any of you who love collecting these vintage paper items. Made in the United States. Measures approximately 7 1/8 x 4 1/4”.
