This rare jewelry box is in pre loved condition and does have some wear. There are faint surface scratches over the piece; some will be more noticeable. I noticed a couple of spots that look a little cloudy; i do not know if this can be removed or fixed. All scratches and flaws will not be visible in the photos due to lighting and reflections. There are a few nicks here and there and a couple of deeper scratches; there is a nick on the rim of the lid; in the front above the lock. There is some discoloration on the metal lock and feet. The key for the lock is long gone. There will be some faint marks here and there. It may need some light cleaning and the interior may have a little lint. THE MUSIC IS WORKING BUT IT WAS DIFFICULT TO FIGURE IT OUT; when i first got the piece it did not work but after looking at it, it seems that you are not supposed to wind it. If it is wound tight it does not work. I think it is fixed but i cannot be positive; however i have not had any issues since i loosened it. It works by opening and closing the lid, not by winding. It is possible that i have overlooked some additional small flaws. Buyer should expect more wear than what is visible or mentioned. SOLD AS IS. Please view all photos using zoom.
