Description: I had this model for many years. It has an older cast body. I think it dates from the late 1950’s when the Lockheed L188 was first introduced(1957). Its construction leads me to believe it is a period travel agency desk model as it is relatively heavy for its size. It is relatively small having a fuselage 10” long with a wingspan of approximately 9 1/2”. No plastic here! The propellers are steel and it has minor pitting from its life before my ownership. It might be able to be polished out a little if the new owner so desires. During my possession it’s lived in a glass cabinet. An interesting older aviation model.
