By Captain William Cornwallis Harris, Of The H.E.I. Company's Engineers On The Bombay Establishment. The book plate is titled " 'Lingap - A Matabili Warrior". The paper is on heavier stock than the original printed pages of the book and retains the protective cover page. The lithograph measures 9 1/2" by 6 1/2". As seen in the photographs, there are areas of faint discoloration to the paper, but the image is vivid.Provenance of the Honorable Will Garwood (1931-2011) United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
