Description: The 1st Armored Division was involved in several significant operations while this jacket would have been in service. In 1990 they deployed to Kuwait, where the division distinguished itself during the ensuing Invasion of Iraq. In 1995, it deployed to Bosnia, and in 1999 went to Kosovo. Ultimately the division would be deployed to Iraq in 2003, where it was initially assigned to stabilize the situation in Baghdad. Woodland BDUs were on their way out by this time, but some 1st Armored personnel can be seen wearing them in the first few months of GWOT. The jacket is in good used condition - I didn't see any issues to write home about. 1988 contract! W-5 -------- I am a longtime collector of Cold War military equipment.
