Description: You are bidding on a VERY NICE set of WW2 German Wehrmacht 6x30 Binoculars! With factory applied Dunkelgelb paint, these were brought back by a US Veteran at the end of the war.The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6x30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7x50, 8x30, 10x50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issued to personnel on a limited basis. Made of brass and aluminum by cag (Swarovski), these 6 x 30 power binoculars are in EXCELLENT used condition! The lens bodies retain about 80% of their original paint and finish, and the end piece fittings are 100% intact! The focus adjustments still function perfectly, however the view is a bit hazy (typical for this type), as you can see in the photo. The right side body is marked Dienstglas (Service Binoculars), 6x30, along with the serial number, "90597". Though not marked "H/6400", they do have a ranging scale. As they are in used condition, there are some slight marks and scratches throughout. Comes complete with the Neck Strap, Rain Shield, and Button Tab. An EXCELLENT example, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
