WW2 era ROBESON CUTLERY (RCC) USN MK2 Mark 2 fighting knife, NORD scabbard

Description: WW2 era US Navy Mark 2 fighting knife with original "navy-gray" NORD composition scabbard; manufactured by Robeson Cutlery Co. This MK2 is about 11-7/8" / 30 cm overall; the blade is about 6-3/4" / 17.2. Used, but in better than average condition for the type - no pitting, spine dings, or edge nicks. The blade has been re-sharpened; it is razor-sharp still; the tip is intact. Stacked leather washes and steel round pommel handle is tight; the guard has a bit of a play. Original NNORD composition scabbard by Beckwith Manufacturing; production numbers on the back indicate March 1945 delivery. Original "navy-gray" finish on plastic; no big dents or chips; webbing is in good shape; this MK2 is in 100% serviceable condition still. These are the actual photos.
