Description: US ww2 M1 Helmet front seam. Steel pot is interesting as its double named right side looks to be the original owner ww2 and then reissued to someone named on the left side in stamped ink lettering.Rin band stainless steel and real nice heat stamp visible. Chin strap I am guessing was ripped on the bails and later repaired using the metal military clips. Liner also interesting has the early kacki color webbing and is ww2 Westinghouse D4 and painted black like an MP helmet with AHMA decal on the left side.One of the more interesting helmets I have given it appears to have been reissued 2 or more times .Definitely originally WW2 issue with a very interesting history.
