Description: 135 Photos in an album Plus some loose photos. The largest photo is 5 by 7 inches. Its the first one shown in the album. Smallest are 3 by 3. Photos are generally pretty clean. All are photographed. Lots of tears to the pages of the album and the spine of the album. Mostly seem to be military related. End of WW2 or after in Western Germany. Ones in the beginning of the album seem to be on vacation, possibly to Europe right after the war. Later ones are at the 86Th Air Base. Looks like an airshow or demonstration of new planes. Some important looking fellows as well as shots in a barracks. Barracks are not segregated. Could be the family visited a soldier. Some obvious German buildings in the photos. I got this at a local auction in SW Ohio. I also bought some box lots of photos from the same consignor. Among them are 4 loose photos of the same Man. 2 are marked on the back as John Clay from Lewisburg Ohio. I believe he appears in the album. I only pulled out and looked at a few of the photos in the album but they were not marked on the back. So I am not certain its the same person. I am including those photos with the album. The photos have codes and its the 6th album but this is the only one I saw at the auction. Most of the estate was related to a John A Woolery of Lewisburg Ohio. They had a diary of his grandfather from the civil war. I'm not sure if the person who sold the stuff was related to both the Woolerys and this John Clay or not.
