Co. 1943 - Original - Very Nice Condition Up for sale is a WWII Era US Army M1923 Dismounted Cartridge Belt for the M1 Garand, M1903 Springfield, M1917 Enfield Rifles. This belt has 10 pockets. The belt was designed to hold 10 M1 Garand enbloc clips or 20 Stripper clips for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield rifles. The belt is used, see photo's for Condition. No rips or tears in the canvas. It has the internal strap in each pocket. All the fasteners work properly. Early Khaki Color Canvas. It has a US marking on the front right pocket and the manufacturer markings: D.M. Shoe Co. 1943 on the rear. Markings are light, but readable. One fastener shows evidence of a repair, see photos. Some minor color fading. Normal evidence of wear and prior usage. Very NICE Condition example of this popular WWII Era Belt.
