Description: Description This EXCEPTIONAL cotton medallion quilt is all machine pieced and quilted, with a variety of early patterns and complex borders, made with high quality 19th century reproduction fabrics. Hand written on a back corner identifies this as being made as a Christmas gift in 2012. Came out of an estate in central Ohio (not an import). It measures 102" X 102" and is in excellent condition, with the occasional small, inconspicuous spot and no wear. There is curlicue quilting by machine throughout. The back is an early brown floral reproduction fabric, the hand stitched binding is a brown print, and the batting is thin.
