Yellow Rabbit Snail 4 Pack (Tylomelania Gemmifera)

Description: This listing is for a (4) pack of yellow rabbit snails at around .25 - .5 inches. These are baby snails that are measured before going out and will be the minimum size at the smallest. Hard water of ph: 7.5+ is preferred. This is a very attractive scavenger snail species from the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Although it is a rather inactive species compared to some of the other snails in its grouping, they are quite beautiful. The shell is black with a white tip (usually from corrosion and age) and the foot is black, usually with yellow spots. This species has yellow antenna and yellow lips. This is a soft-substrate dweller. Males do not look different from the females. They have between 1 and 8 young baby snails at a time which happens occasionally, but ideal for aquariums as they do not breed out of control. Please do not worry if the snails are buttoned up tight tin their shells, they are trapdoor snails and will close themselves up tight for protection. It is extremely rare that these snails would die in transit so please read the following: Snails are only considered Dead if their slug is hanging out of the shell or the shell is empty.
