Yo La Tengo's debut album, originally released on the Coyote Records label in 1986, reveals their jangle-pop roots and serves as an excellent snapshot of the nascent Hoboken music scene when that town was distinctly down at heels (haha, I was there). This is the 1993 Matador CD reissue [OLE 205-2] with four bonus tracks, including the A and B of their "The River Of Water" single and a Love cover.
